We use one of three methods of shipping based on your needs. By default, we use the shipping method that results in the least amount of cost for the customer. You are welcome to use your own carrier, or pick up your order.

  1. Our own Astro delivery truck for deliveries in our delivery range that meet the minimums for that area.
  2. LTL carriers for large items and stakes to be shipped outside of our delivery area or those larger orders with a rush status.
  3. UPS Ground for small items and/or orders of stakes depending on size and quantity.

Shipping via Astro Truck:

Our freightliner is all-enclosed to ensure dry and safe delivery.

The truck is equipped with a life gate. This allows us to easily place your product indoors and/or on most paved surfaces of your choice without the need for a powered fork truck.


  1. Your order is placed where you need it without having to provide any assistance. This way you can keep your employees where you need them most!
  2. Our truck fits in places that LTL semi's do not.

  4. No extra costs for the lift gate. This typically is a $50 or $75 additional cost with LTL.
  5. No fuel surcharges
  6. Small details are very important to us! We will work with you on most anything you need!

Astro Truck Terms and Conditions:

  1. The shipping rate for our Astro truck is a flat rate base on delivery location only.
  2. Minimums for delivery depend on location
  3. Shipping via our Astro Truck is possible within a certain area. Please call to see if your area qualifies for delivery.
  4. Shipping may take up to one to two weeks so please order in advance! We typically will have your order in stock, but to keep shipping costs as low as possible for our customers, we wait for enough orders to send out our truck to your area. Optional LTL service is available for immediate delivery if ordered before 12PM, but is about 2-4 times more expensive than shipping with Astro.
  5. You may request drop shipments to job sites. Extra charges may occur for any delays or problems at the drop site at Astro Wood Stake's discretion.

  1. Shipping charges for LTL is based on weight, distance, location, and if a lift gate is required. You may request a free quote at any time!
  2. Orders placed before noon EST are typically shipped out same day.
  3. U.S. and Canadian shipping only. Canada may incur extra delivery charges for paperwork and customs.

Shipping via UPS Ground

Terms and Conditions:

  1. U.S. shipping available only. Alaska and Hawaii may have additional shipping charges. Certain exceptions may apply.
  2. Purchases for in stock products received before noon EST (eastern standard time) that can be shipped UPS are normally shipped out same day or next business day. (See below for estimated time chart)
  3. Items shipped FOB warehouse via UPS usually arrive 1-8 business days from ship date depending on location.
  4. UPS shipping costs are based on estimated weight, distance and packaging.
  5. You may request expedited shipping. Additional charges may occur.
  6. Insurance covers up to $100 of the product costs. You may request additional insurance. Applicable charges will occur.

Damaged / Lost Items:

  1. Items damaged or lost during shipping should be covered under insurance (automatic up to $100 with UPS).  It is up to you to request additional insurance protection if you have concerns.  We will bill you accordingly.
  2. If you receive a package that is damaged, refuse the package and contact us within 2 business days so we can assist with the claim against the carrier.  We are unable to assist with damaged packages that have been accepted.
  3. If item is defective due to manufacturer's defect, please contact us within 3 business days.  Items will be dealt with directly with manufacturer's warranty.
  4. Damaged merchandise is not defective merchandise.  Only merchandise with flaws in the design or construction of the item are handled directly with the manufacturer's warranty.
  5. Under no circumstances should you accept a damaged package!
